Chesed Committee

In times of need the Beit Sasson Chesed Committee provides our members and families with help and support. Needs include help for new parents following births, home or hospital visitation in case of serious illness, and meals and shiva minyanim following death of a loved one. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Chesed Committee members if you are in need or know of someone in need. Also, if you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Committee members.

Compassionate Support for Jews in Need

Yad Chessed's (“Hand of Lovingkindness”) mission is to provide emergency financial assistance while working to preserve the dignity of each individual client. The cash assistance we provide for basic needs (food, clothing, shelter, utilities, and the like) purchases security for our clients, and this security then allows them to buy back into an all-important sense of self-belief.
